Agile Argile

Giulia, the hands behind Agile•Argile, studied architecture.
In recent years, her work mainly focused on smaller-scale yet intricately detailed projects. Her practice enabled her to explore her passion for materials and handcrafted items by designing not only spaces of various types but also architectural elements such as furniture and lighting fixtures.
By doing so she has fostered connections and collaborated with different craftsmanship professions which ultimately became her favorite part of the process.

Ceramics have emerged as a natural extension to these inclinations: she particularly appreciates the hands-on process that allows her to shape the form simultaneously as she designs the object. The resulting unique piece is meant to be used and used again, in the day-to-day life, making the exceptional ordinary, and vice versa.
