Elisa is an architect and artist. She began experimenting with ceramics driven by the need to work with her own hands, finding in it, through the exploration and combination of different hand building techniques, shapes and textures, an endless source of expression.

Merging technical skills with formal explorations, her work is inspired by the observation of movement in nature, which has led her to appreciate the beauty in the imperfect and mutable.

Part of her fascination with the creative process is the escape and immersion that rhythm provides in the construction of each piece. Her reliance on experimentation to guide her creative process creates and build from each piece a unique visual and tactile story.
