Where do the products come from? How are they made?

Berlin is home to a thriving community of professional, semi-professional, and hobbyist ceramicists, working in their individual studios or often in shared spaces. Keracult aims to showcase the diversity and richness of ceramic art as practiced in the German capital. To achieve this, we curate existing pieces that have been passionately handmade by Berlin creators and offer them to you through our unified platform.

 

How do I make sure I order the correct size?

The measurements (length, width, height, diameter) of an object are always specified in the product description on its page. If you have specific questions about a product, you can reach out to us using the provided contact form

 

Glazes can contain chemical products. Is my ceramic piece food safe?

Every item in the Kitchenware category is certified as food-safe. Any product that should not come into contact with your mouth will have a clear notification in its product description. 

Furthermore, all items in the Kitchenware category is dishwasher-safe, unless stated otherwise.

 

How do you set the prices?

Pricing artworks is not an exact science, it’s rather a balancing act of judging several different factors. Each piece on Keracult is individually valued in a mutual agreement with its creator. Here are some ingredients taken into account: approach and originality, time investment, experience as a ceramicist, market prices. 

 

Orders & Shipping

Will my item arrive safely?

Your ceramic piece is packaged with great care by its creator. Once the parcel has been prepared, it is handled by our logistics partner DHL for insured delivery to you. 

 

Where do you ship to?

You can order your unique ceramic pieces from Germany and from everywhere in the EU-room. 

 

How long will it take to get my order?

Delivery times within Germany: 3-7 days
Delivery times to the rest of the EU: up to 10 days.

 

What do the shipping prices include?

The shipping cost is made up of several elements. Ceramic is a fragile material and can break easily. To avoid breakage during transport, we make every effort to pack and protect them properly. The packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials. After preparation by the designer, the parcel is picked up by a DHL courier and then sent to you in an insured shipment.

 

What shipping carriers do you use?

All our parcels are sent with our partner DHL. Packages are insured during transit to ensure they reach you safely. 

 

What do I do if I never received my order?

If you have not received your parcel within two weeks of confirmation of shipment, please contact us. We will do everything we can to ensure that your parcel finds you. A parcel is never lost!

 

What do I do if I receive a defective order?

If, by misfortune, you notice on opening your parcel that the item that has just been delivered to you is damaged, we ask you not to touch it any further and to contact us as soon as possible via the contact formular or at info@keracult.com with photos showing the defect. 

 

Returns

What is your return policy?

A right of withdrawal will be allowed up to 14 days after the date of delivery. For more information, see our Returns Policy.

 

Sustainability

What is Keracult’s stance on sustainability?

Keracult strongly believes in the need to live in harmony with nature and to protect the environment and its species.
The works offered on the platform already exist and were not produced with the single purpose of a market product.
In addition, all the materials used to package the products are made from recycled and recyclable paper. All printed communication materials are printed with CO2-offset, as is the sending of parcels.
