Two glazes are applied to this filter coffee cone: a glossy black glaze and a matt beige glaze. When fired at 1200°C, the glazes fuse, giving the object its unique texture: sometimes darker coloured, sometimes lighter. All this depends on the surface of the ceramic object and the respective immersion times of the glazes: it is a delicate job to be able to predict them.
